Description
Microjet® Riser Adaptors are available in a number of different types and sizes for differing applications.
The Riser Adaptors are used to connect 4mm rigid riser pipes to polyethylene lateral pipelines by screwing (or inserting) the adaptor into the rigid riser and screwing (or inserting) the other end of the adaptor into a hole formed in the lateral line by means of the Microjet Spanner or Punch ; They can also be used to join length of rigid riser pipes together.

Threaded 2BA (4mm) | This is the conventional riser adaptor which is threaded on both sides and, therefore, screws into the riser pipe and into the lateral. | ||||||

Barbed (4mm) | This adaptor has a barb on either end and is pushed into the riser pipe and then pushed into the lateral where it is held snugly and sealed by the barb. It is also known as a T-Barbed Adaptor because of its T-shaped lugs on the sides. | ||||||

Threaded 2BA/Barbed (4mm) | This adaptor is threaded on the one side which is screwed into the lateral, and has a barb on the opposite side which is pushed into the rigid riser pipe. It is also known as a T-Barbed Adaptor because of its T-shaped lugs on the sides. | ||||||
