| The Emjay® Male Female Adaptor is a fitting with a male N.P.T. (USA) thread on one side and a female B.S.P. (British) thread on the other side. It is used to allow a fitting or instrument with a an American female thread (F.N.P.T) to be connected to a standard B.S.P. male fitting or instrument.
Like the majority of its siblings in the Emjay® Insert Fittings range it is also available in Green Polyprop. We recommend the Green Polyprop as a better alternative for threaded fittings as the material is more suited to the application. Its important to stress that this fitting does not change the gender of the part it is attached to just the type (NPT or BSP) or size.
