Description

Microjet^® Chokes are used in conjunction with 4mm or 5mm Flexible PVC Tube or with Rigid Risers to restrict the volume of water passing through the tube. They are ideal for areas, such as potplants, where the watering amount might need to be adjusted to fit a certain area. Microjet^® Chokes (and Varijets^®) also solve the problem of plants that require differing amount of water at different times of the year.
With a Microjet^® Choke installed that line or riser can simply be switched off when not needed.

It is important to note that these are Chokes and do not necessarily shut off completely

The chokes are available in 4 different formats as below :

BK 61	Threaded 2BA (4mm) – both ends	This choke can be used with a rigid riser screwed on both ends to control the discharge of the jet fitted to the top of the riser or it can be used in the place of an adaptor at the bottom of the riser. In this application the choke is screwed directly into the polypipe lateral and the riser is then screwed onto the other thread.


BK 62	Threaded 2BA (4mm) / Barbed (5mm)	This choke can be used to connect a small bore tube (4 or 5mm) to a rigid riser or directly to the polypipe lateral. It can also be used to control the amount of water through a microjet stake assembly.


BK 63	Barbed (5mm) – both ends	This choke has a 5mm barb on both ends and is designed for insertion in 4 or 5mm small bore tubing to control the discharge through the tube.


BK 65	Barbed (4.5mm) – both ends	This choke has a 4.5mm barb on both ends and is designed for insertion in 4mm small bore tubing to control the discharge through the tube.
